TransitioNail Color: OPI Tickle My France-y

Sad as it is, summer is coming to an end soon.  School will even be starting for some folks as early as the end of this month, right?  As an adult, I guess I don't really pay attention to those dates.  What I do pay attention to, though, are the weather changes that bring changes in fashion with them!

Favorite color ever!

Sometimes the changes in fashion can be a little difficult to maneuver around, particularly during the more transitional times.  One item may be fabulous for summer, but way too light and bright for fall, while something else may be too dark or heavy for summer.  That's why today I wanted to show you one of my favorite transitional nail colors, OPI's Tickle My France-y.

This has been one of my favorite nail colors since back when I was in college, and my love for this color hasn't yet faded.  It's a beautiful dusty pink with just a slight hint of purple (which you sadly can't see from this picture).  It definitely falls into the category of a neutral polish, and neutral or nude colors are typically pretty easy transitional colors.

I also really love this color, because even though it seems like your basic nail color, it actually changes color depending on the light it's in.  While in this particular picture the color looks like a light, duty pink (always a pretty color), in darker light, it looks like a darker color, and that's when those purple tones I was telling you about really come out.  So, in addition to being just a pretty transitional color, in general, it also works with the actual amount of sunlight to make sure you're in the right shade of neutral, too!

So, I'm curious, what have you been wearing on your nails?  Did you guys do anything fun this summer?  Let me know in the comment section below!
